Little Corkers prides itself on offering fantastic customer service and we are always happy to take calls and answer any questions you might have about our products, manufacturing methods or services. It is important to us that you understand every step of the product selection and making processes because we feel that this makes the process of choosing and purchasing your jewellery more fun and more special.

We hope that the information we provide here will tell you everything you need to know, but please feel free to contact us if you need any further information and we will try to help you in any way we can.

Item descriptions
As every piece we produce is made by hand, the piece that you receive may vary slightly from those shown on the website. Because of this we consider our jewellery to be of higher standard than machine made jewellery and we feel our pieces offer an enhanced touch experience. Whilst this means that the piece you receive might be different from what is shown, we feel that the individuality of each piece is part of what makes it attractive as an item of jewellery and makes it special as a gift. The exact size of the piece and its shape will also be dependent on the size and shape of the individual images and prints that you send to us.

Postage &  delivery times
We do not charge delivery in the UK. The first impression kit that we send to you is included in this free postage and this package also includes a pre-paid, return post, package so that you can return your impressions to us free of charge. Your completed piece will be sent to you free of charge using Signed For delivery. This is to ensure that you receive the completed piece in perfect condition and that it does not get lost or stolen.

For customers who require express delivery we offer an express service. This is Royal Mail’s Next Day Guaranteed Delivery service and costs £5. Delivery is guaranteed by 1pm.

EU postage is £8. This cost covers the DELIVERY of the impressions kit and the delivery of the final item. The costs of returning the impression kit must be met by the customer.

Global Postage outside of the UK and EU is £12. This postage covers the cost of DELIVERY of the impressions kit and delivery of the final item. The costs of returning the impressions kit must be met by the customer.

Customers are responsible for paying any import duties which are applicable in their countries that mail or packages may be subject to.

Kits for taking impressions are despatched by first class post within 2 days of receiving an order.

Completed pieces are despatched within 21 days of receipt of the impressions set from the customer. When the finished item is shipped it will be sent with Royal Mail’s Signed For service.

At busy times of year it may be difficult for Little Corkers to meet the standard production deadlines. Such times would include for example, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas Day. We will publish all details of these busy periods on our website. Where necessary we will contact our customers to advise them of any possible delays.

Cancellation policy
If an order is cancelled before the dispatch of the impression kit, then the customer will receive a full refund of any payment made. In cases where the impression kit has already been despatched the order can be cancelled, however a charge of £6 will be made to cover the cost of the impressions kit and the postage. Once work has begun on a piece of jewellery then no refund can be given.

Returns
Here at Little Corkers we always do our best to make sure that the items you buy from us are finished to the highest standards and meet your highest expectations. It is extremely important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Once made, personalised items cannot be returned, except under the following circumstances:
•    The product delivered is not that which was ordered.
•    A name and/or message appears differently from that specified on the order. For example if a name is spelt incorrectly or if a date is incorrect. 
•    The product is faulty or damaged. 
Please check all goods received immediately on arrival. If you are not completely satisfied with the purchase then please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Little Corkers will always do everything possible to resolve a problem situation of this nature. 
If customer error is responsible for inaccuracies on the finished piece, such as incorrect spelling or dates, then Little Corkers regrets that we cannot refund or replace the item. Customers must ensure that they carefully double check the accuracy of all information supplied to Little Corkers before submitting their order. 
If an item must be returned then Little Corkers always recommends that the item is sent using recorded delivery and that the sender obtains a receipt as proof of posting. Little Corkers is not responsible for any items until we receive them. Little Corkers cannot be held responsible or accept liability for any items damaged or lost in transit. 

Late/non arrival of an order
If an item does not arrive inside of the stated delivery timeframe then please contact us. If a delivery does not arrive then Royal Mail specifies a 15 working day waiting period before a parcel is classified as being lost, and Little Corkers must wait out this 15 day period before dispatching a replacement item. 
Urgent orders
If an order is urgent and requires completion by a specific deadline then please contact us and tell us about this, as we will always do our best to fulfil every order to the customer’s requirements. 

Christmas/Mothers Day/ Father’s Day
For days such as Christmas Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, Little Corkers has set order deadlines in place to make sure we are able to cope with the increased number of orders that we receive at these times. The final deadlines for each of these holidays will be published on our website. If an order is placed after this deadline or if an impressions sheet is returned after these deadlines then delivery of items cannot be guaranteed before that particular holiday. Once impressions have been returned, Little Corkers cannot accept cancellation of an order, if the deadline for a holiday has been missed. 

Gift vouchers
Gift Vouchers must be used within six months of Little Corkers dispatching them. If they are used after this time period then additional charges may apply. This is because of potential fluctuations in the price of silver and other materials that may be required in the manufacturing process. 

Caring for your jewellery

All the jewellery that we supply is very delicate and can easily be damaged or scratched. Because solid silver is quite a soft metal, we always recommend the removal of all jewellery items before doing any manual tasks including basic DIY and household maintenance tasks such as cleaning or gardening. We would especially stress this advice where bangles are concerned. To keep your items in good condition and in the same state that they were in when you received them, we recommend that you polish your pieces regularly using a nonabrasive cleaning cloth. We advise against using commercial dips as they may remove the finish. Regularly inspect your jewellery and check the fittings for wear. When not in use store your jewellery carefully.
